Grand Arrival of Lord Ganesha in the Industrial City with Great Enthusiasm

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Amid the chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya… Mangal Murti Morya…” and the beats of dhol-tasha, beloved Lord Ganesha arrived in the industrial city on Wednesday. Everywhere, through processions, Ganesha was brought home with great enthusiasm. Household Ganesha idols were installed in the morning, while public Ganesh festival mandals carried out the installation ceremonies in the afternoon. With Varun Raja’s (Rain God) blessings and the unprecedented zeal of devotees, the industrial city has become filled with the festive spirit of Ganesha.

This year, there is a noticeable increase in enthusiasm in Pimpri-Chinchwad’s industrial city. The installation of household Ganesha idols began early in the morning. Meanwhile, public Ganesh festival mandals seemed charged with great excitement for the upcoming ten days of celebrations.

Household installations took place in the morning itself. Families were seen busy decorating for Bappa’s arrival. In the afternoon, public Ganesh mandals held processions with the resonant beats of dhol-tasha to install the idols of Lord Ganesha.
