Little Tummies, Healthy Minds

Spread the love

Pimpri : Nutrition plays an important role in a preschool child’s growth, brain development, energy and behaviour. As parents, we should take extra care of what our little ones eat and build healthy habits from an early age.

Instead of frequently giving sweets, chocolates and ice creams, encourage fruits, dry fruits, vegetables, milk, soup, eggs and nutritious homemade food. If a child does not like roti-bhaji, make it interesting—blend vegetables into the dough and prepare colourful, nutritious parathas in different shapes. Let healthy food become fun!

We should also guide grandparents and elders at home not to give children everything they demand. Timely meals, healthy food and proper sleep are equally important for a happy and healthy child.

Let us work together—parents, grandparents and teachers—to nurture healthy bodies, happy minds and better habits.
