iPhone 18 Pro Series Goes on Sale in India; Long Queues Outside Apple Stores
Apple’s latest flagship iPhones went on sale across India on September 18, with customers lining up early at stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Noida and Bengaluru.
Mumbai | Apple’s much-awaited iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have officially gone on sale in India, triggering huge excitement among Apple fans. Long queues were seen outside Apple Stores in several major cities as customers arrived early to get their hands on the latest iPhones.
Customers began gathering outside stores hours before opening time. In Bengaluru, some buyers reportedly arrived as early as 5 am, while similar scenes were witnessed in Mumbai, Delhi and Noida. The new iPhones went on sale from 8 am on September 18.
Apple Stores Open Early
Considering the rush on launch day, Apple stores opened at 8 am, allowing customers with pre-booked orders as well as walk-in buyers to purchase the new models. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available through Apple’s online store and its six official retail stores in India.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 in India. The Pro models are available in storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB.
Apple’s New 2026 Lineup
The latest 2026 lineup includes the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. Apple has also introduced its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, although its India availability is scheduled for a later date.
The iPhone 18 Pro series features a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, upgraded performance and improvements in battery life. The devices are powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip.
iPhone Duo to Arrive Later
While the iPhone 18 Pro series is now available in India, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, is scheduled to be available from October 23, with pre-orders beginning October 16.
