₹702 Crore Property Tax Collected by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation
PCMC Appeals to Defaulter Property Owners

Pimpri-Chinchwad: The Tax Assessment and Collection Department of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has achieved a notable performance in the financial year 2025–26, collecting ₹702 crore 73 lakh in property tax during the period from 1 April 2025 to 2 February 2026. In addition, a comprehensive drive for property tax collection will be undertaken over the next two months. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation has appealed to property owners who have not yet paid their property tax to do so at the earliest.
This year, the Municipal Corporation’s Tax Collection Department has effectively used modern technology for tax recovery. Online payment systems and various digital platforms have been made available to provide citizens with convenient facilities for paying taxes. Along with this, regular follow-ups through SMS, notices, and personal visits regarding tax payment have helped speed up the collection process.
Highest Collection Under Thergaon Ward Office
During the period from 1 April 2025 to 2 February 2026, the highest collection under the Tax Assessment and Collection Department was recorded by the Thergaon Ward Office. During this period, this office collected ₹69 crore 3 lakh. The Chinchwad Ward Office collected ₹45 crore 49 lakh, Chikhali Office ₹54 crore 27 lakh, Kaspate Vasti Office ₹49 crore 98 lakh, Municipal Headquarters ₹34 crore 21 lakh, Bhosari ₹44 crore 91 lakh, Sangvi ₹35 crore 26 lakh, Moshi ₹43 crore 52 lakh, Pimpri Waghire ₹42 crore 2 lakh, Kiwale ₹47 crore 87 lakh, Wakad ₹87 crore 44 lakh, Charholi ₹27 crore 21 lakh, Nigdi Pradhikaran ₹15 crore 65 lakh, Pimpri Nagar ₹5 crore 78 lakh, Akurdi ₹32 crore 94 lakh, Dighi–Bopkhel ₹21 crore 40 lakh, Talawade ₹17 crore 63 lakh, and the Phugewadi–Dapodi Ward Office collected ₹28 crore 10 lakh.

Due to all these measures, the property tax collection figure has crossed ₹700 crore so far in the current financial year.
