Integrated Placement & Internship Programme Empowers Computer Science Students with Industry-Ready Skills

Pune : The Department of Computer Science, has organized an Integrated Placement & Internship Programme for the students of S.Y. and T.Y.B.Sc. CS / B.C.A. Science/ AIML/ CDS in collaboration with Kiran Academy, Pune, on 27 August 2026.

The programme aimed to provide students with valuable opportunities for industrial training, project-based internships, and placement assistance. The selection process included an Entrance Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview, enabling students to experience a professional recruitment process.

The programme was formally introduced by the Head of the Department, Prof. Swapnil More, who highlighted the importance of industry exposure, skill development, internships, and placement opportunities for students. The program was conducted by Mr. Pradip Kalunke, Senior Technical Trainer of Kiran Academy. Students actively participated in the programme and benefited from information regarding training programmes, scholarships, free Udemy courses, and placement assistance.

The initiative reflects the Department of Computer Science’s commitment to enhancing students’ employability, industry readiness, and career development by connecting academic learning with practical industry-oriented opportunities.

The program was successfully conducted under guidance of Management, Founder President Hon Mr Vilas Lande, Secretary Hon Sudhir Mungase, Principal Prof. K Y Chaudhari sir, Registrar Mrs. Ashwini Bhosale mam, HOD Prof Swapnil more and all staff.
