PCMC: Corporator Shatrughn Kate Goes into ‘Action Mode’ to Accelerate Development Works
BJP councillors review infrastructure projects in Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani, issue strict timelines to civic officials
Pimpri-Chinchwad: A marathon review meeting was held in Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani Ward No. 28 to assess the progress of various development works. Corporator Shatrughn Kate, along with Corporator Anita Kate and Corporator Kunda Bhise, reviewed ongoing civic projects and directed the municipal machinery to speed up execution, reaffirming their commitment to fulfilling promises made to citizens before the elections.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on road repairs, drainage systems, water supply, electricity services, healthcare facilities, street lighting and maintenance of public gardens. Expressing strong displeasure over delays in certain works, the councillors questioned concerned officials and issued clear instructions to complete projects within stipulated timelines.
The councillors also carried out on-site inspections to evaluate work quality and progress. They instructed all concerned departments to work in coordination to immediately resolve citizens’ issues. Emphasising accountability, the councillors warned that no delay, negligence or substandard work would be tolerated and that strict action would be taken if deadlines are missed.
Several civic officials, contractors and local representatives were present during the inspection and review.
