Delhi Red Fort Blast Case: Dr. Umar Ran a “Conversion Factory”, Targeted Youth Across India
Imphal Woman Reveals Shocking Details; Umar Misused His Professor Position to Radicalize Students

Delhi:
New revelations in the Red Fort blast case show that main accused Dr. Umar Nabi was running a nationwide network to push young people toward radicalization. Investigators have discovered that he targeted students, junior colleagues, and misguided youth across several states.
During interrogation, an Imphal-based woman admitted she was in contact with Umar. Reports say she was lured into religious conversion and given a new identity—“Maryam”—as part of a soft-conversion strategy commonly used by extremist groups.
According to sources, Umar exploited his role as a senior professor, pressuring students to attend his informal sessions where he attempted to influence them with extremist ideologies.
The Imphal woman told investigators that she attended the sessions only out of respect for his senior position and never accepted his ideology. Her statements have revealed the scale and method of Umar’s radicalization network.
