A bizarre incident from Bihar has caught the attention of social media users after local villagers reportedly caught a crocodile found in a paddy field and carried it on a person’s shoulder before handing it over to the Forest Department.

The video of the incident, shared on social media by Anjali Kumari, has gone viral and sparked widespread reactions. While crocodiles are generally feared because of their size and strength, the locals in this incident appeared remarkably confident while handling the reptile.
According to the information shared with the video, the crocodile was spotted in a paddy field. Local residents managed to capture it and tied its mouth to prevent it from attacking anyone.
In the viral footage, one person can be seen carrying the crocodile on his shoulder while another part of the video shows the reptile sitting on the roof of a vehicle. Several people can also be seen holding the crocodile under control.
The villagers later handed the crocodile over to the Forest Department. It is reported that forest officials subsequently released the reptile into the Kosi River, ensuring that it was returned to a natural habitat.
Locals’ Courage Becomes the Talking Point
Although the video features a crocodile, it is the unusual manner in which the villagers handled the reptile that has become the main topic of discussion online.
