Delhi Blast: International Link Emerges? Evidence of Turkish Trip by Umar & Muzammil Discovered; Telegram Groups Under Scrutiny
Investigation into the car explosion near India’s Red Fort reveals that Dr Umar Un Nabi and Dr Muzammil Shakeel made overseas travel entries

In the aftermath of the car bombing near the Red Fort metro station on 10 November 2025, Delhi police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have uncovered potential international dimensions to the attack. The vehicle, a Hyundai i20, is linked to suspect Dr Umar Un Nabi, who is believed to have connections with a terror module busted earlier in Faridabad. Al Jazeera+3The Times of India+3India Today+3
Preliminary findings show that Umar Un Nabi and Dr Muzammil Shakeel travelled to Turkey and joined encrypted Telegram groups in advance of the blast. These groups are being investigated for possible links to the militant organisation Jaish‑e‑Mohammed and were apparently used to coordinate “white-collar” terror modules. India Today+1
Authorities have invoked the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and categorised the incident as a terror attack, with Home Minister Amit Shah directing agencies to track down all conspirators. Reuters+1
At this stage, the investigation is active and several leads are being pursued. The full extent of the overseas link is yet to be officially confirmed, and no group has openly claimed responsibility.
