Pune-Mumbai Connecting Link Closed for 3 Hours Today
Pune: Commuters travelling from Pune towards Mumbai on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway need to plan their journey carefully today. The Connecting Link on the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway will remain completely closed for Pune-to-Mumbai traffic for three hours on Wednesday, August 12, due to scheduled maintenance and repair work along with a mock drill.

According to the administration, the Pune-to-Mumbai carriageway of the Connecting Link will remain closed between 12 PM and 3 PM. During this period, vehicles travelling towards Mumbai from Pune will not be allowed to use the Connecting Link.
Old Mumbai-Pune Highway to Be Used as Alternative Route
To manage traffic during the closure, vehicles travelling from Pune towards Mumbai will be diverted through the old Mumbai-Pune highway and the ghat section.
The traffic authorities have advised motorists to plan their journey accordingly and use the designated alternative route during the three-hour closure period to avoid inconvenience and delays.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai-to-Pune carriageway of the Connecting Link will remain open for regular traffic. This means vehicles travelling from Mumbai towards Pune will continue to use the route as usual.
The authorities have appealed to motorists to cooperate with traffic officials and follow instructions during the maintenance work and mock drill.
