Demand to Build a Grand Memorial of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar in Bhosari

Pimpri-Chinchwad | National player and social worker Arun Sir Padule has made a firm demand that a grand full-sized memorial of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, who has been a source of inspiration for the entire nation, should be built in the Bhosari Assembly constituency. Today, he submitted a memorandum to Bhosari MLA and Hindutva leader Mahesh Kisanrao Landge in this regard, requesting that urgent steps be taken for the construction of the memorial.

Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar established an unshakable place in history as an ideal ruler by undertaking the restoration of Hindu temples, laying the foundation of an excellent justice system, and exemplary administration. Her work will serve as an inspiration for future generations, Padule stated in the memorandum.

As there is a large population of the Dhangar community in Pimpri-Chinchwad city, the memorial of the revered Punyashlok Mata will uphold the sentiments of the community. Sculptures depicting Ahilyadevi’s life journey should be installed around the memorial so that her work reaches the younger generation and inspires them, Padule also demanded. This demand has been supported by citizens of the Bhosari constituency and various social organizations, and it was indicated that the demand will soon take on a broader form.

The work of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar is like a beacon for today’s society. If her memorial is built, it will not only preserve history but will also inspire the new generation with values, justice, and leadership.
