“PRISM and e-Zero FIR Strengthen Citizen Safety,” Says CM Dr. Pramod Sawant
Technology Driven Policing in Goa Enhances Safety Under Digital India Vision, Sets Model for Other States

Panaji, 6 Feb 2026: | Goa Police has launched new technology-driven initiatives to enhance public safety and improve response to cybercrime. The measures include PRISM, a centralised Intelligence Fusion Centre, and the e-Zero FIR system, integrated with the 1930 Cyber Crime Helpline. These systems aim to strengthen policing efficiency, improve investigations, and make citizen services faster and more accessible.
Central to these efforts is PRISM, which integrates all authorised technical and analytical tools under a single platform. It supports intelligence-led policing, helping track habitual offenders, absconders, and missing persons. The e-Zero FIR system ensures cyber fraud complaints are promptly converted into FIRs, removing procedural delays and enabling faster investigations.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Dr. Pramod Sawant said, “Through initiatives like PRISM and the e-Zero FIR system, Goa Police is enhancing citizen safety and demonstrating a model of smart, technology-driven, and citizen-friendly policing that other states can adopt. These initiatives reflect our commitment to secure, responsive, and modern governance, aligned with the national vision of Digital India. I also acknowledge the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose vision of Digital India has paved the way for such reforms.”
North Goa SP Rahul Gupta added, “PRISM brings together all authorised technical tools under a single umbrella, enabling deeper intelligence analysis and functioning as a continuous watch system for tracking offenders and tracing missing persons. Implemented under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, PRISM reflects smart, proactive, intelligence-led policing and shows how states can adopt modern policing practices effectively.”
The Digital Tenant Verification System allows citizens to complete tenant verification fully online through the Goa Police App, replacing manual visits to police stations. Aadhaar and rent agreements can be uploaded digitally. A three-stage verification process, provisional certificate followed by final verification with the tenant’s native police station ensures transparency, safety, and convenience, while strengthening digital governance. These initiatives demonstrate how Goa Police is using digital tools and intelligence-led systems to improve public safety and service delivery.
