Housing Society Residents in Pimpri-Chinchwad Fed Up with Traffic Woes!

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Residents of various housing societies in Pimpri-Chinchwad, who travel daily to areas like Chakan, Hinjewadi, and Talwade for work and business, are facing severe traffic issues. To find a concrete solution, Sanjeevan Sangle, President of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, has demanded that a meeting be arranged with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. A formal request in this regard has been submitted to BJP MLA Mahesh Landge.

Residents commuting for work or business to areas like Chakan, Hinjewadi, Talegaon, and Talwade face heavy traffic congestion on all routes. Due to this, reaching their destinations often takes four to five hours. The situation has worsened during the monsoon season. The excessive commute time results not only in a loss of valuable time for Pimpri-Chinchwad citizens but also leads to excessive fuel consumption due to prolonged vehicle idling. This wastage impacts not only the personal finances of the citizens but also represents a national loss of resources and productivity.

Given the seriousness of this traffic issue, the Federation has appealed to MLA Mahesh Landge to raise the matter during the ongoing monsoon session of the State Assembly and to facilitate a meeting of the Federation’s representatives with the Deputy Chief Minister to discuss actionable solutions.

On top of that, the fuel costs incurred because of hours spent stuck in traffic are rising significantly. This issue has persisted for a long time now. Therefore, we request Hon. MLA Mahesh Landge to raise this matter in the Assembly and organize a meeting of our Federation representatives with the Deputy Chief Minister to find a viable solution,”
