According to rainfall statistics shared by West Coast Weatherman on X (formerly Twitter), the city received significantly more rainfall than many major metropolitan cities record during their wettest month of the year. The data, originally shared by @RainTracker, highlighted that Mumbai has no close competitor in terms of rainfall intensity during this period.
The figures indicate that Mumbai’s rainfall over five days exceeded the annual peak monthly rainfall recorded in several Indian and international cities.
