The State Cabinet has approved the allocation of 15 hectares of government land at Moshi (Taluka Haveli) in Pimpri-Chinchwad to the Krantiveer Chapekar Samiti, the Krantitirth Chapekar Bandhu National Museum (Chinchwad Gaon), and the Punarutthan Samarasata Gurukul (an aided tribal ashram school). The persistent efforts of BJP MLA Mahesh Landge have finally borne fruit, paving the way for the creation of a comprehensive center dedicated to education, character building, and social development for the backward and marginalized tribal communities on this site.
Padmashri Girish Kaka Prabhune of the Krantiveer Chapekar Samiti had requested this land, and the State Government responded positively to the request. During the Legislative Assembly session, MLA Mahesh Landge personally met Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule to urge a resolution regarding the land issue. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also lent his positive support to this demand. Subsequently, the administrative process gained momentum, and the Cabinet finally approved the proposal to allocate the 15 hectares of government land.
MLA Mahesh Landge had consistently pursued the issue of the land request for the Krantiveer Chapekar Samiti with the government. He had recently written to Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule requesting a review meeting on pending issues concerning Pimpri-Chinchwad city, a request that included the matter of this land allocation. Thanks to his persistent follow-up, this ambitious project is now set to gain momentum. A development center aimed at the holistic upliftment of the backward and marginalized tribal community will be established on the sanctioned land. This center will operate through the Krantiveer Chapekar Samiti, the Krantitirtha Chapekar Bandhu National Museum, and the Punarutthan Samarasata Gurukulam-aided tribal ashram school. It will facilitate access to education, values, skill development, and opportunities for social progress for students from the tribal community.
MLA Mahesh Landge has expressed his gratitude to the State Government, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule for this decision. This center, which fosters social harmony, education, and the development of marginalized sections, will prove significant for the Pimpri-Chinchwad region.
“I consistently pursued this matter with the government, keeping in mind the request made by Padma Shri Girish Kaka Prabhune and the broader social objective behind it. During the Legislative Assembly session, I met Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule in person and requested a resolution to the land issue. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also lent positive support to this demand. I am immensely happy that the issue has finally been resolved with the Cabinet’s approval to allocate 15 hectares of government land. This center will provide children from the marginalized tribal community with new opportunities for education, character building, and development. My efforts to ensure the holistic development of Pimpri-Chinchwad city and its surrounding areas will continue with the same dedication.”
