Delhi Blast Case: NIA Conducts Raids at Eight Locations in J&K, Searches House of Key Suspect Jaseer Bilal Wani
Searches focus on suspect Jaseer Bilal Wani, linked to suicide bomber Nabi.

Delhi Blast Case:
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday launched a major crackdown in Jammu and Kashmir as part of its ongoing probe into the Delhi car bomb explosion near Red Fort on November 10. The agency, in coordination with J&K Police, conducted raids at eight different locations, including the residence of suspected conspirator Jaseer Bilal Wani, also known as Danish.
Wani Aided Suicide Bomber Nabi
According to NIA officials, Wani played a crucial role in assisting Nabi, the suicide bomber involved in the Delhi blast. Wani, a graduate, allegedly collaborated with a Pulwama-based doctor as well as Nabi to execute the terror plot.
Explosives Modeled After Hamas & ISIS
Investigators revealed that Wani possessed advanced knowledge of explosive-making technology. He reportedly attempted to assemble compact IEDs that could be deployed using drones in crowded areas.
The designs of these explosives reportedly resembled devices used by terror outfits Hamas and ISIS.
Recruitment & Radicalisation
Wani first met Nabi last year. Initially planning to join Jaish-e-Mohammed, Wani was allegedly persuaded by Nabi to become a suicide attacker. He later began providing technical assistance to Nabi.
His arrest became likely after another key accused, Ameer Rashid Ali, was detained. The car used for the explosion was registered in Ali’s name. Ali is accused of providing shelter, logistical help and other support to Nabi.
The NIA’s multi-location raids are expected to reveal more details about the Delhi blast conspiracy and possible cross-border terror links.
