In a powerful show of solidarity and compassion, as many as 50 trucks of essential relief material were dispatched from Pimpri-Chinchwad in a single day to support flood-affected farmers and labourers across Marathwada, Solapur, and other disaster-hit regions. The initiative, titled “Ek Haath Madaticha” (A Helping Hand), aims to reach over 18,400 families across 100+ villages and has drawn the attention of people across Maharashtra.
The initiative is spearheaded by BJP MLA and President of the Hindu Bhushan Smarak Trust, Mahesh Landge, who mobilized resources and citizen support to make this large-scale relief effort possible. With active public participation, the team successfully collected and dispatched trucks loaded with essential goods and food grains for affected communities.
A special flag-off ceremony and vehicle puja were held at the Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj International Industrial Exhibition Center in Moshi, after which the aid vehicles departed for Marathwada. Each truck is accompanied by 4–5 volunteers, totaling nearly 300 team members ensuring smooth and direct delivery to families in need.
