Pimpri – Illegally abandoned and unclaimed vehicles left on roads within the jurisdiction of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate are obstructing public transportation. These vehicles are causing surrounding areas to become dirty and chaotic, leading to a slowdown in traffic movement.

To ensure smooth traffic in the city, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has removed these illegally abandoned vehicles from the roads and securely stored them at the PCMC Vehicle Depot at Moshi, Reservation Number 1/205-A.

Many of these vehicles have been lying there for years and are now in a rusted and deteriorated condition. After verification of ownership documents, these vehicles will be returned to their respective owners. If the owners refuse to claim their vehicles, the process to declare them as scrap will begin.

Between October 10, 2025, and October 24, 2025, citizens are requested to personally visit the Moshi depot (Reservation No. 1/205) and verify whether their vehicle is among those impounded. If your vehicle is found there, please contact the office with relevant documents such as the vehicle registration, chassis number, RTO number, and other necessary papers.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate appeals to all citizens to complete the required procedures and claim their vehicles from the Moshi depot within the stipulated period (10/10/2025 to 24/10/2025). Please bring all necessary documents and pay any pending fines or dues on the vehicle.

Failure to claim the vehicle within this period will result in the vehicle being declared as scrap, and it will be disposed of permanently. No claims or complaints regarding the vehicle will be entertained after the deadline.

This appeal has been made by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Pimpri-Chinchwad City – Mr. Vivek Patil.
