Shravani from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal School Heads to Germany for Higher Education..!

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Shravani Tonge, a student of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj English Medium School of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation located in Kasarwadi, has been selected for the prestigious United World College (UWC) – Robert Bosch College in Germany.

The only student from India..!

Her admission has been confirmed for the academic session beginning on 28th August 2025. She is the only student not just from Maharashtra but from all of India to receive 100% scholarship. Shravani’s selection has proved that municipal schools also provide quality and conducive educational environments. Having passed her SSC (10th standard), Shravani has achieved this success through determination, perseverance, and hard work. She is now heading to Germany for her 11th and 12th-grade studies. Over the next two years, she will study subjects such as Science, Mathematics, and Economics in detail.

Shravani’s further education journey begins in Germany..

Through the prestigious United World Colleges (UWC) institution’s Robert Bosch College in Germany, she was selected from Maharashtra for this scholarship. She scored 93% in her 10th board exams. Her father is a sports teacher in a private school, and her mother works in a private company. In the upcoming academic session, Shravani’s educational journey will begin in Germany. United World Colleges has schools and colleges in different parts of the world and provides various scholarships for education. Shravani has participated in many academic and co-curricular competitions. She successfully cleared the scholarship exam as well as the Hindi Rashtrabhasha exam. She was also the captain of the school’s basketball team and won a gold medal in discus throw.
