Educational Kits Distributed to 135 Students in Dighi on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti

Pimpri-Chinchwad: On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a meaningful social initiative was undertaken in Dighi village to support underprivileged students through the distribution of educational materials.

The initiative was carried out under the guidance of former corporator Vikas Harishchandra Dolas and corporator Shruti Vikas Dolas. Organized jointly by Sangharsh Sports Club and Kapilvastu Buddha Vihar Committee, the program benefited a total of 135 students who received educational kits.

Each kit included essential academic supplies such as school bags, a set of six notebooks, compass boxes, and pens, aimed at supporting students in their educational journey.

The initiative was inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s timeless message: “Educate, Organize, Agitate.” Organizers emphasized that the primary objective of the program was to ensure that students face no obstacles in accessing education and are encouraged to pursue academic excellence.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Dolas stated, “Dr. Ambedkar strongly emphasized the importance of education. Providing educational resources to students on his birth anniversary is the truest form of tribute to his legacy.”

The event witnessed the presence of corporator Shruti Dolas, members of Sangharsh Sports Club, Kapilvastu Buddha Vihar Committee, and a large number of local residents. The distribution brought visible joy to the students, and the initiative has been widely appreciated across the Dighi area.
