Ganesh Laxman Tathe Appointed Chairman of Maharashtra Government’s Minimum Wages Advisory Board

Pune | In a significant recognition of his years of service to the working-class community, Shri Ganesh Laxman Tathe, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) State President of the Workers’ Front and current State In-Charge, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Maharashtra Government’s Minimum Wages Advisory Board. The appointment comes with the rank of Minister of State (MoS).
A proud son of the soil from Karegaon in Shirur (Pune District), Ganesh Tathe has long been associated with grassroots politics and the fight for workers’ rights. His dedication towards improving the socio-economic conditions of laborers and his consistent leadership within the BJP have earned him respect across the political spectrum.
With this appointment, the Maharashtra Government has placed confidence in Tathe’s ability to steer the board towards ensuring fair wages and improved conditions for workers across the state. The Minimum Wages Advisory Board plays a crucial role in recommending policies and guiding the government in framing wage-related regulations, directly impacting lakhs of workers in Maharashtra.
