Pimpri Chinchwad | The Medical Department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has once again proven its dominance across the state. In the recently announced April and May 2025 health program rankings by the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Maharashtra, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation secured the first position in the state.
In April, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation bagged the top spot with 45.18 points, and in May, by making further progress in all aspects, it retained its first position with 47.70 points.
This ranking included important indicators such as maternal health, child health, immunization, family planning, adolescent health, PCPNDT, RCH Portal, IDSP, tuberculosis control program, rabies control program, leprosy eradication program, dengue and malaria control, non-communicable disease control, National Urban Health Mission, quality health service accreditation, e-Aushadhi, free diagnostic services, Ayushman Bharat–Health and Wellness Centers, HIVS, ASHA program, as well as administration and financial management. Excelling in all these areas, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has secured the top position in the state.
