First International Conference at Dr. D. Y. Patil Technical Campus College of Engineering
‘ICAICET 2026’ Receives an Enthusiastic Response; Over 150 Research Papers Received
Talegaon Dabhade: Dr. D. Y. Patil Technical Campus College of Engineering, Varale, Talegaon, organized its first-ever International Conference, “International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Emerging Trends in Research, Innovation and Technologies (ICAICET 2026),” through its MCA Department on October 23 and 24, 2026. The conference received an enthusiastic response from researchers, faculty members, and students, marking a significant milestone in the history of the institution.
The conference was conducted under the guidance of the institution’s Chairman, Dr. Sushant Patil, and CEO, Adv. Anuja Patil, and under the chairmanship of Dr. S. D. Shirbahadurkar, Principal and Conference Chair. Dr. Yogesh Gurav, Dean Academics and Conference Secretary, provided guidance and leadership in shaping the event. The conference was graced by Keynote Speaker Dr. Sandeep Pandey, Conference Convener and MCA Department Head Prof. Manish Raut, Registrar Mr. Namdev Vetale, Head of the Computer Engineering Department Dr. Shyamsundar Kosbatwar, and Session Chair Dr. Navnath Kale.
Conceptualized by Prof. Manish Raut, the conference was successfully planned and executed under his leadership. From coordinating with researchers and collecting research papers to organizing various technical sessions and managing the overall arrangements, he played a pivotal role in bringing the conference to fruition.
More than 150 research papers were received for the conference, of which over 100 papers were accepted, and more than 60 papers were registered. The conference featured offline sessions on October 23 and online sessions on October 24. Experts deliberated on emerging developments and evolving trends in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Research, Innovation, and Emerging Technologies.
The conference was compered by Professors Srushti Hinge and Anuradha Bobade. Prof. Gopal Tonchar, Dr. Vyankat Mane, Prashant Raut, Suyash Kakade, Akash Gaikwad, Muskan Nayakwadi, Mohan Shingade, Nikhil Lade, Amol Narwade, and all the Heads of Departments extended valuable support in organizing the event. Their coordinated efforts, systematic planning, and dedicated participation contributed significantly to the successful execution of the conference.
The successful organization of ICAICET 2026 has opened new avenues for the institution in the fields of academics, research, and innovation. As the first International Conference in the institution’s history, the event marks an important milestone and reinforces its commitment to advancing research, knowledge sharing, and technological innovation.
