In a shocking development, a major conspiracy to assassinate Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil has been exposed. According to the information shared by Jarange himself, the accused involved in the plot have confessed that secret meetings were held in Beed city a few days ago to discuss the plan. It is alleged that a supari (contract) worth ₹2.5 crore was fixed during these meetings, and some individuals close to Jarange were also present.

One of the main accused, Amol Khune, was previously involved in the infamous Kopardi rape case incident, where he had attacked the accused within the court premises. Khune was later associated with Jarange’s Shivba Sanghatana and even spent two years in jail. After being released, he resumed working with Jarange. During the Maratha reservation agitation in April 2024, Khune was attacked, and Jarange had then demanded police protection for him.

It is now revealed that the murder plot was hatched in Beed district, and one of Jarange’s close aides who attended the meeting informed him about it. According to sources, the conspirators were instructed to administer sleeping pills or sedatives to Jarange before executing the plan. Jarange claims to possess evidence including call recordings and names of those involved.

Jarange has further alleged that a senior political leader masterminded the plot, and he has the evidence to prove it. He has announced a press conference at Antarwali Sarati at 11 AM today, where he will present the proof publicly. The identity of the political leader and the extent of involvement are expected to be revealed during this briefing.
