DYPIMED Hosts Six-Day Induction Programme 2026 for New MCA Students
Pimpri Chinchwad : Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development (DYPIMED) successfully organized the Induction Programme 2026 – “Utkarsh 2K26” for newly admitted MCA students from 9th to 24th September 2026. The six-day programme aimed to familiarize students with the institute, faculty, academic structure, placement opportunities and their peers through a mix of informative, interactive and creative activities. The programme began with registration and Saraswati Puja, followed by an institute introduction and welcome address by Dr. Ashwini Chavan, HoD – MCA, and an address by Dr. Meghana Bhilare, Director, DYPIMED. Industry insights were shared by Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Director Software Engineering, Amdocs, while the “SPARK – Building Connections, Creating Memories” activity was conducted by Ms. Srushti Jadhav, Mr. Yash Patel and Mr. Harshal Morkhade.
The programme continued with sessions on professional development, placements and academics. Ms. Rati Choundawar, VP – People & Culture, addressed students on team building, recruitment, employer branding, conflict management and learning & development, while Dr. Sushil Kulkarni, T&P Officer, DYPIMED, conducted a placement orientation session. Academic orientation and elective selection were guided by Dr. Ashwini Chavan, Prof. Manoj Patil and Prof. Ajinkya Ban. Team-building and outdoor activities led by Mr. Pravin Awate strengthened collaboration, communication and team spirit, followed by a hands-on Ganpati Idol Making Workshop that encouraged creativity and participation.
The concluding sessions focused on entrepreneurship, motivation, cyber security and cultural engagement. Mr. Sajin Sudhakaran, Director, Silverhorse India Pvt. Ltd., conducted a session on “Entrepreneurial Mindset”, followed by an inspiring session by Mr. Rahul Nalawade, Motivational Speaker and Corporate Trainer, on the life and character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Mr. Vinit Beri, Information and Cyber Security Consultant, sensitized students about cyber threats and digital safety, while Mr. Shreyash Deshpande, Director and Cultural Head, conducted an engaging session on music. The programme provided students with a vibrant platform to Connect, Learn, Participate and Grow, combining academic orientation, industry interaction, leadership, entrepreneurship, cyber awareness, teamwork and cultural learning.
