According to the news agency IANS, Dharmendra breathed his last on 24 November 2025 in Mumbai. The veteran actor had been unwell for days and had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for treatment. Tragically, Dharmendra was about to celebrate his 90th birthday on 8 December. The family had been planning special celebrations for the milestone. Meanwhile, earlier this month, false reports of his death had circulated on social media while he was still hospitalised, prompting his family— including Hema Malini, Esha Deol and Sunny Deol—to publicly deny the news and urge responsible media reporting.
