“Interviews of 180 Aspiring BJP Workers Successfully Completed in Pimpri-Chinchwad City District Committee; Positions Only on Merit… Clear Indication from City President”

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Under the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pimpri-Chinchwad City District Committee, interviews of workers aspiring for posts in the newly forming departmental committees were recently conducted with great enthusiasm and in a disciplined environment. A total of 180 aspiring workers were interviewed during the process. The procedure is still ongoing and is expected to be completed soon.
For the District Executive Committee, the structure includes-
1 President,
8 Vice Presidents,
4 General Secretaries (including 1 SC/ST and 1 Woman),
8 Secretaries,
1 Treasurer,
District Office Bearers (7 Women and 2 SC/ST),
and 69 District Executive Members (including 23 Women and 4 SC/ST).
In addition, appointments for various Morchas, Cells, and Cell Presidents are also made through this process.
This entire process was conducted under the leadership of BJP City President Mr. Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate. He was accompanied by heads of various departments, city executive members, and senior office bearers.
During the interviews, each aspirant presented their thoughts on organizational experience, social contributions, and future work plans. More than 180 aspiring workers registered and participated in the interview process. Detailed discussions were held with the aspirants regarding their organizational background, involvement in social work, knowledge about the party, and future action plans.
City President Shatrughna Kate clearly stated on this occasion:
“In the Bharatiya Janata Party, a position is a responsibility. This responsibility will be entrusted only to capable, loyal workers who have worked at the grassroots level of the organization. The party’s tradition is to give top priority to merit. Therefore, rather than any recommendations, appointments will be made based solely on the merit, sense of responsibility, and loyalty of the aspirants towards the organization,” he stated clearly.
An official list of selected office bearers will be announced soon.
This selection process has brought a sense of rejuvenation, transparency, and competitiveness among the workers. According to office bearers, this is not merely a formal procedure but an important step in creating effective leadership. Many new faces presented positive and practical perspectives during the interviews, laying a strong foundation for the future leadership of the BJP in the city.
