Series of Accidents Due to Unauthorized Parking on Spine Road
National Player Arun Padule Demands Immediate Action; Police Assure Prompt Measures

Pimpri-Chinchwad | The traffic system in the Chikhli area’s Spine Road has completely collapsed due to increasing unauthorized vehicle parking, leading to a rapid rise in accident cases. The presence of parked tempos, trucks, and buses on the road poses a serious threat to citizens’ safety. Traffic congestion during evenings on Saturdays and Sundays, especially near the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Garden, has become a persistent issue due to the parked vehicles.
Large vehicles parked on both sides of the road have made it dangerous even to walk for senior citizens, women, and children. Local residents have expressed concern over the increasing number of accidents caused by narrow roads, inadequate infrastructure, and recklessly parked vehicles.
In an effort to find a solution to this problem, President of Punyashlok Rajmata Pratishthan and national player Arun Padule took the initiative and met Senior Police Inspector Vitthal Salunkhe at the Chikhli Police Station. He informed him of the grave situation in the area and demanded immediate removal of unauthorized parking outside the garden as well as strict punitive action against the concerned vehicles.
Taking serious note of Arun Padule’s representation, Mr. Salunkhe ordered immediate action and assured that regular patrolling and monitoring of parking activities will be conducted by police teams. This decision has created a sense of relief among local citizens, and they expect the situation to improve soon.
“Unauthorized parking on Spine Road is putting people’s lives at risk. The situation is extremely unsafe for the elderly, women, and children. The administration must immediately take note and impose strict penalties on unauthorized parked vehicles — this is our clear demand.”
— Arun Padule, President, Punyashlok Rajmata Pratishthan
