D. Y. Patil PGDM Institute to Host AICTE–ATAL Faculty Development Programme on AI and Sustainable Business Innovation
Pune : D. Y. Patil PGDM Institute, Akurdi, Pune, is organizing an AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “From Blue Ocean to Green Growth: Leveraging AI for Scalable & Sustainable Business Innovation” from 21st to 26th September 2026 at the institute campus.
The six-day offline FDP aims to provide faculty members and academic professionals with insights into the emerging applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and responsible growth.
The programme focuses on the transition from creating new and innovative market spaces—Blue Ocean—towards sustainable and responsible business growth—Green Growth. It will explore how AI and emerging technologies can support organizations in developing innovative and scalable business models, enhancing decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and addressing sustainability challenges.
The FDP will feature sessions by academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and subject experts, providing participants with opportunities for knowledge sharing, interactive learning, and professional development. Key areas will include AI-enabled business innovation, sustainable business models, responsible AI, entrepreneurship, emerging technologies, and technology-driven business transformation.
The programme is being conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shalaka Parker, Director, with Dr. Rashmi Prasad, Chief Coordinator, and Dr. Sandeep Sarkale, Co-Coordinator, leading the coordination and execution of the FDP.
The programme reflects the institute’s commitment to strengthening faculty development, research, innovation, industry–academia interaction, and technology-enabled management education, while creating a platform for meaningful academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
