PCMC Elections: Vote Counting to Begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Says Commissioner Shravan Hardikar

Only Authorized Persons with Official Identity Cards Will Be Allowed Entry at Counting Centers

Polling for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2026 is underway today. The vote counting process will commence tomorrow, Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at eight designated locations within the municipal limits, informed Municipal Commissioner and Election Officer Shravan Hardikar. He clarified that only those individuals who have been issued official identity cards by the Election Department will be permitted entry into the vote counting premises. To ensure smooth and orderly counting, traffic regulation, parking arrangements, and separate media rooms have been established around all counting centers. For maintaining accuracy and transparency, a computerized system will be used during result declaration.
