Landslide victory in the municipal elections: Assurance given at BJP press conference

Pimpri-Chinchwad: India’s economy is rapidly developing and is now recognized as the world’s third-largest economic power. After achieving a landslide victory in the municipal elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party held a press conference. Present on this occasion were MLA Maheshdada Landge, Amit Gorkhe, former MP Amar Sable, Yuva Morcha State President Anup More, former Pradhikaran President Sadashiv Khade, South India Front State President Rajesh Pille, City Spokesperson Kunal Landge, City General Secretary Adv. Moreshwar Shedge, Vikas Dolas, Madhukar Bachhe, Vaishali Khaddye, senior corporator Sheetal alias Vijay Shinde, former corporator Raju Durge, Sujata Palande, among others.
Shatrughan Kate said that Maharashtra ranks first in the rapidly developing Indian economy under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Pimpri-Chinchwad city also has a significant contribution to this growth in every respect. When governments with the same ideology exist from local self-governing bodies up to the central government, planned and rapid development of the city and the state becomes possible. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, Speaker Ram Shinde, Ministers Chandrakant Patil, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Pankaja Munde, MLAs Maheshdada Landge, Shankar Jagtap, Umatai Khapre, Amit Gorkhe, former MP Amar Sable, Yuva Morcha State President Anup More, former Pradhikaran President Sadashiv Khade, and South Front State President Rajesh Pille energized the city with their campaign meetings during the election period. As a result, in the elections held on January 15, voters expressed their confidence by giving the Bharatiya Janata Party single-party rule in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
Voters’ trust in BJP…
While interacting with journalists, Shatrughan Kate said that in the 2007 general elections, under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the leadership of then City President and MLA late Laxmanbhau Jagtap, MLA Maheshdada Landge, and former MP Amar Sable, citizens of the city gave BJP a majority in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The development works carried out thereafter strengthened voters’ trust in the BJP. Now, planning will be done to ensure that Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is recognized as number one in the country in all sectors such as metro expansion, improvement in traffic management, regular water supply, river rejuvenation projects, health, medical services, education, arts, sports, women’s safety, law and order, and the environment, he said.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, and all BJP MLAs and MPs provided invaluable guidance to ensure BJP’s rule in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. MLAs Maheshdada Landge, Shankar Sheth Jagtap, Umatai Khapre, Amit Gorkhe, former MP Amar Sable, along with all state committee office-bearers, core committee members, all former corporators, presidents and key office-bearers of all BJP fronts, mandal presidents, booth in-charges, and volunteers worked together tirelessly in this election. As a result, the trust shown by voters in the Bharatiya Janata Party will be duly honored, Shatrughan Kate added.
