Pimpri Chinchwad | The Bharatiya Janata Party today held a strong protest in Pimpri-Chinchwad against the Congress party for insulting the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Bihar election campaign. The agitation was held to condemn Congress ideology for disrespecting Indian culture and motherhood, expressed through the saying “Swami Tinihi Jagacha Aaiwina Bhikari” (Even the Lord of the three worlds is a beggar without a mother).

The protest was led by City President Shatrughna Kate and Mahila Morcha President Mrs. Sujata Palande. BJP office bearers, workers, and especially women participated in large numbers. The protest took place at 10 a.m. near the BJP office in Pimpri.

City President Shatrughna Kate launched a fierce attack on Congress, saying, “The ideology of Congress has always been one that sows poison and disrespects womanhood.” He alleged that using abusive words for the Prime Minister’s mother and depicting her in a bad manner is an insult to all mothers of the country. “This motherhood will never tolerate such insult,” he declared firmly.

Through this agitation, the Congress party’s act was strongly condemned. The protesters raised slogans expressing their anger against Congress. A firm message was given that disrespecting motherhood by anyone will not be tolerated. An appeal was also made to the public to unite in the honor of motherhood. Activists from various city mandals participated in large numbers in the protest.

Mandal-wise protests across the city showed strong resentment against Congress. This BJP agitation for the honor of motherhood proved impactful, and BJP’s women office bearers will be sending bangles to the Congress party office as a symbolic protest.
