Republic Day Celebration at D Y Patil Educational Federation Inspires Patriotism and Unity

Varale, Talegaon:D Y Patil Educational Federation celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at its campus in Varale, Talegaon. The event witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries including Dr. Sushant Patil, Advocate Anuja Patil, the Principal, Director Meghna Patil, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with pride, unity, and respect for the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sushant Patil highlighted the importance of Republic Day as a symbol of India’s democratic framework and constitutional ideals. He underlined the crucial role of education in shaping responsible citizens and encouraged students to actively participate in the nation’s progress while preserving unity and integrity.
Advocate Anuja Patil, in her address, spoke about the significance of the Indian Constitution and the responsibilities it places upon every citizen. She urged students to uphold the values of justice, equality, and freedom, stating that these principles form the foundation of a strong and progressive nation.
The Principal appreciated the collective efforts of students and staff in organising the celebration and reiterated the institution’s commitment to academic excellence combined with moral and social responsibility. Director Meghna Patil highlighted the institution’s achievements and stressed the importance of nurturing patriotism and civic consciousness among students.
The celebration featured colourful cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits presented by students, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and paying tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters. The programme also included a prize distribution ceremony to recognise students for their academic and extracurricular achievements.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by all attendees to uphold constitutional values and contribute positively to society, reinforcing a strong sense of unity and national pride.
