D Y Patil Technical Campus Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour
Varale, Talegaon:D Y Patil Technical Campus, Varale, Talegaon, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on Monday. The programme was held in the august presence of Chief Guest Col. Raosaheb Patil, along with Dr. Suresh Shirbahadurkar, Principal of the institute, and Mr. Yogesh Gurav.
The celebration witnessed the participation of Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, and a large number of students. The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and national unity.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Col. Raosaheb Patil delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of discipline, integrity, and dedication towards national service. He urged students to actively contribute to nation-building and uphold moral and constitutional values in their personal and professional lives.
In his presidential address, Dr. Suresh Shirbahadurkar emphasized the significance of Republic Day and encouraged students to follow the constitutional principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Mr. Yogesh Gurav appreciated the collective efforts of students and staff in organizing the programme and fostering a sense of patriotism on campus.
The programme also featured cultural performances such as patriotic songs, dances, and skits presented by students, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. The performances were highly appreciated by the audience.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective pledge by students and staff to work responsibly for the progress and development of the nation.
