Polling for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) elections began at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, with an encouraging start as citizens stepped out to cast their votes. According to the election administration, the city recorded a 6.56% voter turnout within the first two hours of polling.

As polling booths opened in the morning, voters were seen arriving steadily across various wards. Senior citizens, women, and young voters showed notable enthusiasm in exercising their democratic right.
