Pimpri Chinchwad | Under the joint initiative of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, through the Information and Technology Department of the Municipal Corporation, a facility has been created to make all types of permissions required for Ganeshotsav available online for all public Ganeshotsav Mandals and housing societies in the city. This is the third consecutive year of this online facility.

Under this service, all public Mandals within the jurisdiction of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, as well as those outside the Corporation’s limits but within the jurisdiction of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police, can apply online. Areas under police stations such as Dehu, Alandi, Dehuroad Cantonment, Shirgaon, Parandwadi, Talegaon, etc., and public Mandals in those areas can also avail of this facility.

In this process, a member of the Mandal must create an account on the Corporation’s official website www.pcmcindia.gov.in under the link Ganesh Utsav Mandap Permission 2025. While creating the account, the mobile number will be verified through OTP. It is mandatory to mention whether the Mandal falls within the Municipal Corporation limits or not, so that the required documents for each category can be requested by the system. Registrations will be done under the Corporation’s A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H regional offices. The Building Department of the respective regional office will first issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC), after which the final NOC will be made available to the Mandals online by the system.

Only after receiving the NOC from the Corporation will the process at the Police Commissioner’s office begin. Applications for which the Corporation issues the final NOC will be forwarded electronically to the Police. After receiving the Municipal NOC, the Police will transfer the applications online to the Traffic Department under the respective police station. After the NOC from the Traffic Department, the final permission will be provided to the Mandal from the Police Office.

For Ganesh Mandals outside the Corporation’s limits, it is mandatory to obtain an NOC from the local council, municipality, or Gram Panchayat before applying. While applying, Mandals must upload photographs and mobile numbers of their President, Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as provide details about decorations, vehicles to be used, lighting, and other facilities. The Mandal must also register details about the route for Ganesh installation and immersion processions.

This facility provided through the Municipal Corporation’s Land and Life Department will be made available free of cost for all public Ganesh Mandals.

This computerized system has been developed as a joint initiative of the Police Commissioner’s Office and the Municipal Corporation, with the prime objective of ensuring that Mandals receive NOCs from both offices at the earliest without having to run around government offices. Hence, I appeal to all public Ganesh Mandals and housing societies to make maximum use of this facility.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has always taken the initiative to introduce new additions in online services. Through this facility, the Corporation will also receive information about which type of idols – Shadu clay or Plaster of Paris – are being sold at Ganesh idol stalls.

Online Registration for Ganesh Idol Sellers

The Municipal Corporation provides NOCs to sellers for selling Ganesh idols through all regional offices. Ganesh idol stalls are set up in various areas of the city on both private and public lands. From today onwards, this facility has also been made available online.

While applying, sellers will be required to upload necessary documents and pay the NOC fee online. Registration is mandatory for all sellers. The NOC issued will contain a QR code, which will help Municipal officers verify the authenticity of the application.
