The India A women’s team lifted the Women’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026 trophy under the leadership of Radha Yadav, defeating Bangladesh A by 46 runs in the final to seal the championship.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India had a shaky start, losing four wickets for just 44 runs. However, Tejal Hasabnis and captain Radha Yadav steadied the innings with a crucial 69-run partnership off 50 balls. Tejal Hasabnis played a brilliant knock of 51 runs off 34 balls, while Radha Yadav contributed 36 runs from 30 deliveries. Vrinda Dinesh added 19 runs to help India post a competitive total of 134 for 7 in 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 135, Bangladesh A struggled against disciplined Indian bowling from the outset. Prema Rawat delivered an impressive spell, claiming three wickets, while Sonia Mendhiya and Tanuja Kanwar picked up two wickets each. Saima Thakor, Minnu Mani and Radha Yadav also chipped in with one wicket apiece.

For Bangladesh A, Shamima Sultana scored 20 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to withstand India’s bowling attack. The team was eventually bowled out for 88 runs, handing India a comprehensive 46-run victory.

Despite suffering a defeat against UAE in their opening match of the tournament, India A made a remarkable comeback to clinch the title. Under Radha Yadav’s captaincy, the team showcased strong collective performance and reaffirmed India’s dominance in Asian women’s cricket.
