Confluence of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” and “Sangh Shatabdi Panchsutri” – Plantation of a 50-Foot Peepal Tree at Shahunagar..!

Pimpri Chinchwad | On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an extraordinary and historic initiative is being realized in Shahunagar. This initiative is based on his thought “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A Tree in the Name of Mother) and also integrates the core theme of “Environment” from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sangh Shatabdi Panchsutri.
The purpose of this initiative is twofold – to express gratitude towards motherhood and to honor her selfless service. At the same time, to create awareness about environmental conservation and to build a green legacy for future generations. Under this initiative, a Peepal (Ashwattha) tree plantation will be carried out, which will not only inspire Shahunagar but also society at large.
This ceremony will be held today, 17th September 2025 at 4 PM at Chhatrapati Shiv Shahu Sambhaji Udyan, Sambhajinagar. MLA Amit Gorkhe and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s District Sanghchalak Vinod Bansal will be prominently present at the event. Notably, this historic tree plantation will be carried out at the hands of former corporator Mrs. Anuradha Gorkhe, symbolizing motherhood, and spreading the message of Motherhood Honor across society.
This initiative is being undertaken jointly with D Y P Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. with the spirit of contributing to environmental protection as part of social responsibility. Through this medium, citizens will get an opportunity to experience the confluence of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” – remembrance of mothers and environmental conservation.
This program will not only strengthen the movement of environmental protection in social life but also preserve the grateful remembrance of motherly love. Hence, the organizers have appealed to citizens to attend in large numbers and witness this historic moment.
