Iran Weakened…! Firing Hundreds of Missiles and Drones in the War’s Early Days; Now the Count Has Dropped to Single Digits…

Iran: Against the backdrop of the conflict between Iran and Israel, significant statistics regarding Iran’s missile and drone capabilities have come to light. While claims suggest that the United States has destroyed approximately 90% of Iran’s missile launch sites, defense experts opine that Iran’s “offensive capability” has not yet been completely neutralized.

Air strikes led by the United States and Israel have inflicted massive damage upon Iran’s key missile bases. Despite the damage sustained by these bases, Iran reportedly still possesses thousands of “suicide drones”—assets that remain difficult to detect and intercept.
Mobile Launchers
Iran has now converted many of its launchers into “mobile units” (missiles capable of being fired from trucks); since these units constantly change their location, destroying them proves to be a challenging task. Recent missile attacks executed by Iran have demonstrated that its “precision-guided” systems have become significantly more advanced than before.

Israel and the U.S. Strategy
Israel’s Iron Dome and Arrow-3 defense systems have claimed to have intercepted 99% of Iran’s attacks. However, U.S. intelligence agencies have issued a warning: if Iran continues to execute “swarm attacks” (simultaneous assaults involving hundreds of drones), these defense systems could come under immense strain.
What Do the Statistics Reveal?
According to the latest data from the Pentagon and various defense agencies, there has been a drastic decline in the intensity of Iran’s missile and drone attacks. On the first day of the war (within 24 hours), Iran launched 167 missiles (ballistic and cruise) and 541 drones at the UAE. By the 15th day of the conflict, this figure had dropped dramatically, limited to just 4 missiles and 6 drones. On average, 100 missiles were being fired at Israel daily; this number has now fallen to single digits (fewer than 10), according to Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies.
