According to figures released by the makers, the film earned ₹4.07 crore from paid previews in India, followed by a Day 1 India net collection of ₹15.33 crore. The overseas market contributed ₹4.70 crore, taking the film’s worldwide opening-day gross to ₹27.60 crore.
The makers also claim that ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has surpassed the opening-day collections of several 2026 releases, including ‘Bhoot Bangla’, ‘Raja Shivaji’, and ‘Peddi’, making it one of the strongest Bollywood openers of the year.
The film marks the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise and features an ensemble cast of nearly 30 actors. Alongside Akshay Kumar, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, and several other well-known Bollywood actors.
Set against the backdrop of a fictional ₹2,000 crore jungle film project, the story blends comedy, action, confusion and unexpected twists. The film’s entertaining narrative and star-studded cast have reportedly contributed to its strong opening at the ticket windows.
While the opening-day figures have generated significant buzz, the film’s long-term box office performance will depend on audience word-of-mouth and its ability to sustain collections over the coming weekend.
