According to the latest box office figures, The Odyssey has collected ₹166.89 crore in 24 days. Including earnings across all languages, the film’s total collection has reached ₹178.31 crore.
The film opened strongly at the box office, earning ₹16.08 crore on its opening day. During its first week, The Odyssey collected ₹56.85 crore, while its cumulative collection reached ₹85.65 crore by the end of the first week.
The film witnessed some decline in its second week but still managed to add ₹45.67 crore to its total. The arrival of Spider-Man: Brand New Day after 14 days of The Odyssey’s theatrical run created additional competition at the box office.
On July 29, The Odyssey earned ₹4.46 crore. However, following the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, its collection dropped to ₹2.79 crore on July 30.
The film soon recovered and regained momentum. On July 31, it collected ₹3.41 crore, followed by ₹5.66 crore on August 1 and ₹5.72 crore on August 2.
The strong performance over the remaining days helped The Odyssey register ₹24.15 crore during its third week. Compared with the first week, the film’s second-week collection declined by around 46.68 per cent. Despite the strong Spider-Man release, however, The Odyssey managed to retain a substantial audience.
Strong Fourth-Week Performance
The Odyssey has also opened its fourth week on a positive note. The film collected ₹2.23 crore on August 6, followed by ₹2.54 crore on August 7.
The film witnessed a significant jump over the weekend, earning ₹4.49 crore on Saturday and ₹4.39 crore on Sunday.
With these numbers, The Odyssey registered approximately ₹11.42 crore during its fourth weekend. The film’s fourth-week collection is now expected to approach the ₹16 crore mark.
If the film continues to maintain its current momentum, industry estimates suggest that The Odyssey could potentially cross the ₹180 crore lifetime collection mark from its English version alone.
