Mega Blood Donation Camp on the Occasion of CM Devendra Fadnavis’ Birthday!

A Mega Blood Donation Camp is being organized on July 22, 2025, at various locations across Pimpri-Chinchwad city to mark the birthday of Maharashtra’s popular Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. MLA Mahesh Landge stated that the initiative is a pledge to donate blood on the CM’s birthday and aims to present a socially beneficial example to the citizens.

The camp will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the same day. MLA Landge appealed to the youth to participate enthusiastically. Across the state, several noble initiatives are being undertaken to mark the CM’s birthday—such as tree plantations, aid to differently-abled citizens, and distribution of school materials to students. In Pimpri-Chinchwad, the focus is on blood collection, and multiple camps are being set up at different locations.

“After the monsoon, many waterborne illnesses increase the demand for blood. In addition, accidents and surgeries also require emergency blood supply. We strive to host such donation camps with the help of several organizations to prevent shortages.
Every day, hundreds of patients from Pimpri-Chinchwad and nearby areas visit Yashwantrao Chavan Hospital under PCMC. Many of them belong to economically weaker sections and often require blood.
So this year, on CM Devendra Fadnavis’ birthday, we aim to collect blood on a large scale through this camp—and this initiative will continue further too.”
