Grand Celebration of Shiv Jayanti by Dr. Sushant Patil Group
Pune: Shiv Jayanti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur by the Dr. Sushant Patil Group. The event was successfully organized under the visionary leadership, guidance, and strong support of Dr. Sushant Patil Sir and Adv. Anuja Patil Madam.
The entire event was coordinated by Prof. Shreyas Deshpande, Creative and Cultural Director, who played a key role in planning and executing the program successfully.
The chief guest for the program was Shri Vidyanand Mankar Sir. The distinguished guest and Shiv lecturer Shri Rahul Maroti Nalawade, popularly known as Rayba, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the life, ideology, and history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Special thanks were expressed to Dr. Suresh Mali Sir, Dr. Suresh Shirbhadurkar Sir, Dr. Meghna Bhilare Madam, Shri Pradeep Khandwe Sir, Shri Sanjay Bhor Sir, Dr. Yogesh Gurav Sir, Shri Namdev Vetale Sir, Dr. Alpana Adsul Madam, Dr. Dipannita Mondal Madam, Prof. Yogesh Nagvekar Sir, along with all Heads of Departments and Cultural Committee Heads for their valuable support.
Various committees contributed significantly to the success of the event. The decoration committee included Prof. Sandesh Patil, Prof. Chaitrali Saratape, and Prof. Satish Asane. The drama, powada, and speech committee included Dr. Pravin Latane, Prof. Swapnil More, and Prof. Mahesh Lohar. The Art Gallery was organized by Prof. Priyanka Bhikkad and Prof. Anuradha Bobde. The Shiv Jayanti rally committee included Shri Kiran Mali, Shri Atul Dhumal, and Shri Vitthal Raut. The Shiv Abhishek committee included Shri Siddhesh Jadhav and Shri Sachchitanand Shrigandhe. The stage committee for the Technical Campus was handled by Prof. Bhavana Shinde. The sports committee included Shri Kiran Mali and Poonam Abhang. The hospitality committee included Prof. Rajhindavi Sathe and Prof. Madhura Madam.
Media and decoration work was handled by Unmesh Korade and Mangesh Dhole, while social media coordination was managed by Nikhil Lade.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Aarambh Dhol Tasha Pathak led by chief coordinator Siddu Sir.
Students also performed traditional Mardani Khel, showcasing the bravery of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Student volunteers including Pranav Chindhe, Sneha Chavan, Harshali Pawar, Sarthak, Deva Nimbalkar, Kapish Kedari, Yash Domse, Shivam Lahase, and Swanand Joshi contributed significantly to the successful organization of the event.
The program was skillfully anchored by Anil Khichar and Prafull Chavan.
Students who performed speeches, drama, and dance, those who created replicas of Shivaji Maharaj’s forts, and students who presented paintings, sketches, and rangoli were also appreciated.
The contribution of the housekeeping and support staff was also acknowledged.
With collective efforts and active participation from everyone involved, the Shiv Jayanti celebration turned out to be grand, inspiring, and memorable.
