New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has revealed that he has been diagnosed with typhoid, but insisted that his health condition will not stop the ongoing nationwide movement demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister.

Sharing a video message, Dipke informed supporters that blood test reports confirmed the infection and that he is currently undergoing treatment with intravenous saline twice a day. Despite his deteriorating health, he said the agitation would continue until its objective is achieved.
“For the past few days, I have not been keeping well. Blood test reports have confirmed that I have typhoid, and I am receiving saline treatment every morning and evening. However, despite my health condition, this movement has become successful because of the peaceful support of people across the country. I sincerely thank every supporter,” Dipke said.
Reaffirming his commitment to the protest, Dipke declared that the campaign would continue until the Union Education Minister steps down, stating that the movement would not lose momentum because of his illness.
Meanwhile, the protest has witnessed a massive security deployment. According to official information, 130 police personnel and around 65 students have been injured during the agitation so far, while 15 FIRs have been registered in connection with the unrest.
Authorities said nearly 10,000 people are present in and around Jantar Mantar, where approximately 3,000 Delhi Police personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order.
Delhi Police have also activated facial recognition technology to identify individuals with criminal backgrounds entering the protest site. According to police sources quoted by ANI, more than 2,000 people with criminal records have been identified through the surveillance system.
Separately, in a major breakthrough in the Maharashtra TET paper leak case, the prime accused Bijendra Gupta was arrested by the Thane Police from Bihar after remaining absconding for several months. His wife, Suman Gupta, had earlier been arrested by the Special Investigation Team for allegedly managing the money generated through the racket and helping him evade arrest.
