Enthusiastic Response to ‘Namo Yuva Run’ Marathon in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pimpri-Chinchwad | On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a grand ‘Namo Yuva Run’ marathon was organized on behalf of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Pimpri-Chinchwad city, on Sunday morning. With the slogan “Ek Daud Modiji Ke Naam” (A Run in the Name of Modi Ji), this marathon brought together the youth, where young men and women along with citizens from various age groups participated in large numbers, spreading the message of patriotism and a healthy lifestyle.
The marathon began at 6 a.m. from Linear Garden, Pimple Saudagar. The participants enthusiastically completed the route from Kokane Chowk to 8 to 80 Park. No entry fee was charged for participating in this event, which made it an open celebration for everyone. The marathon was flagged off with the green signal, and the enthusiasm of all participants was further boosted with a Zumba session.
The event was organized under the guidance of BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan and under the chairmanship of Pimpri-Chinchwad BJP City President Shatrughna Kate. The presence of former Police Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad, IPS officer Krishna Prakash, added special prestige to the program.
On this occasion, special felicitation was given to Indian Rower National Champion Mrunmayee Salgaonkar, Ironman Bhushan Tarak, Parag Joshi, Sachin Nemade, Satish Shinde, and Prashant Yadav. Winners were also honored with certificates.
The program was graced by the presence of MLA Mahesh Landge, BJP Yuva Morcha State President Anup More, District Organization General Secretary Moreshwar Shedge, Vikas Dolas, Madhukar Bache, Vaishali Khadaye, Chandrakant Nakhate, Mahesh Kulkarni, Spokesperson Kunal Landge, Yuva Morcha State General Secretary Sudarshan Pataskar, Namo Yuva Run Coordinator Amrit Marne, BJP Yuva Morcha City President Dinesh Yadav, Yuva Morcha State Vice President Tushar Hinge, Nivedita Ekbote, Yuva Morcha State Secretary Ajit Kulathe, Tata Motors Workers’ Union leader Sachin Landge, along with corporators, state office bearers, Yuva Morcha office bearers, various cell heads, many local leaders and workers.
The main objective of this marathon was not only to celebrate Prime Minister Modi’s birthday but also to convey some significant social messages. The initiative aimed to instill patriotism among the youth, spread the message of de-addiction, and promote a healthy and fit lifestyle. The participants showed immense enthusiasm—youth, senior citizens, and even young children took part actively. This initiative brought together the citizens of Pimpri-Chinchwad and encouraged them to run for a constructive cause.
