Educational world: DYPCOE Table Tennis Team Clinches Inter-College Championship Title for the Third Consecutive Year

The Table Tennis team of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi, has once again demonstrated exceptional skill and determination by securing the championship title at the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament. Competing against 27 prestigious colleges from across the region, the DYPCOE team emerged victorious, marking a historic third consecutive win in the tournament.
This hat-trick of victories stands as a testament to the team’s unwavering consistency, discipline, and cohesive teamwork. With each passing year, the team has continued to raise the bar, establishing DYPCOE as a formidable force in collegiate table tennis.

Aaditya Latkar – Mechanical, Shantanu Nirphale – ENTC. This student Guided by experienced training and driven by a passion for excellence, the players exhibited commendable performance throughout the tournament. Their dedication and resilience were evident in every match they played, ultimately leading them to a well-deserved victory.
Adding to the glory, two standout players from the team, Pranav Patil and Raj Kothari, have been selected to participate in the upcoming three-day Inter-Zonal Camp. Following their impressive performance, they will also represent the college and the university in the prestigious Inter-Zonal Tournament.
Director of Physical Education and Sports, Mr. Abaji Mane, expressed immense pride and appreciation for the team. He acknowledged the relentless efforts of the players and extended gratitude to the college management and staff for their constant encouragement and support.
