Iran’s 4 Conditions for Peace Talks

Iran has outlined four critical conditions for any potential peace agreement with the US and Israel. Iranian Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, shared these demands with Russian media:

  • Immediate end to all terrorist attacks
  • Binding guarantees to prevent future wars
  • Full compensation for material and moral damages caused by the conflict
  • Respect for Iran’s legal authority over the Strait of Hormuz

These conditions highlight Iran’s firm stance and its demand for accountability and long-term security assurances.

Iran Rejects Previous US Proposal

Earlier, the United States had presented a 15-point peace proposal via Pakistan, but Iran rejected it, calling it unrealistic and impractical. Tehran has now reiterated that any future agreement must be politically viable, legally sound, and grounded in reality.

Global Implications

Russia’s entry into the mediation process marks a significant shift in the US-Israel-Iran conflict dynamics, potentially reshaping diplomatic alignments in the Middle East. Analysts believe that Moscow’s involvement could either ease tensions or intensify global power competition, depending on how negotiations unfold.
