PMRDA Makes 29 Citizen Services Fully Online
No Offline Applications to Be Accepted; Circular Issued by Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase

In a major step towards digital governance and citizen-friendly administration, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has made 29 essential public services completely online for citizens residing within its jurisdiction. As per the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, no offline applications will be accepted henceforth.
An official circular announcing this decision has been issued by PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase. The move aims to ensure transparency, time-bound service delivery, and reduced administrative burden for citizens.
Wide Range of Services Now Available Online
Under this new system, citizens must submit online applications for services related to multiple departments, including:
Development Permission Department

Building construction permissions

Land measurement certificates
-
Occupancy certificates
-
Zoning certificates
-
Part layout approvals
-
Revised construction permissions
-
Various technical approvals
Land and Property Department

Transfer of flats or plots
-
Inheritance (succession) entries

No Objection Certificates (NOC) for loans

Re-measurement of land plots
Other Departments

Fire Department No Objection Certificates

Environmental Clearance Certificates
All these services fall under the Right to Public Services Act, making it mandatory for the administration to deliver services within a stipulated time frame.

According to PMRDA officials, shifting these services online will save citizens’ time and effort, reduce unnecessary visits to offices, and ensure efficient use of technology for better governance. The initiative is expected to make PMRDA’s functioning more transparent, accountable, and citizen-oriented.
