If there is ideologically aligned governance from Parliament to the Municipal Corporation, development works gain momentum!
Mission–PCMC: Stand of BJP City President Shatrughn Kate

Pimpri-Chinchwad | In the backdrop of the upcoming Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, the BJP has intensified its campaign under ‘Mission–PCMC’. BJP Pimpri-Chinchwad City President Shatrughn alias Bapu Kate stated that if there is governance based on the same ideology from Parliament to the Municipal Corporation, the city’s development works certainly gain momentum.
In Ward No. 28, BJP–RPI (Athawale group) alliance’s official candidates—City President Shatrughn alias Bapu Kate, Sandesh Kate, Anita Sandeep Kate, and Kundatai Sanjay Bhise—are all in the electoral fray, and a distinctly pro-BJP atmosphere has been created across the ward. Through their campaign, the candidates are presenting an account of the development works carried out so far and are directly interacting with voters.
During visits to various housing societies in the Pimpri-Saudagar area, the candidates discussed citizens’ issues such as water supply, poor road conditions, traffic congestion, drainage, waste management, and maintenance of gardens. On this occasion, they assured citizens that every issue would be consistently followed up with the municipal administration and resolved.
Citizens expressed confidence that this is a team that works by staying in constant touch with the public rather than engaging in politics only during elections. There was enthusiastic participation in these interactions from women, senior citizens, and youth.
“Our agenda is the overall and balanced development of Pimpri-Saudagar–Rahatani Ward No. 28 as well as the entire Pimpri-Chinchwad city. Citizens have faith in us. We are continuously working in coordination with the administration by listening to every problem and resolving it. We have taken responsibility to ensure that the word ‘development’ is not limited to mere announcements but is visible on the ground. Therefore, the BJP’s victory is certain.”
— Shatrughn Kate, City President and Candidate, BJP, Ward No. 28
