Rescue teams rushed to the spot and pulled the victims out of the water. CPR was administered immediately, but despite efforts, all three could not be revived due to prolonged submersion.

One Dies in Pavana River Incident

In a separate incident near an old stone bridge at Salumbre, Manoj Bharat Gautam (25), a native of Uttar Pradesh and an employee at a local pipeline company, drowned after entering the river early in the morning. He reportedly misjudged the water depth.

Massive Rescue Operation Launched

Following both incidents, teams from local rescue groups, fire brigade units from Talegaon Dabhade, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) carried out extensive search and rescue operations. All bodies were eventually recovered and sent to nearby hospitals for further procedures.

Authorities Issue Safety Advisory

Authorities have urged citizens and tourists to exercise extreme caution while visiting dams, rivers, and water bodies during summer outings. Visitors are advised to assess water depth, current strength, and ensure safety measures before entering water.

The incidents have triggered widespread grief across the region, raising concerns about tourist safety and lack of awareness regarding water hazards.
